How Emotion Code Works
The emotion code is a healing method developed by chiropractor, Dr. Bradley Nelson. After years of practice, Dr. Nelson was convinced that most of the issues presented to him by clients had an emotional component. He realized that clients were still troubled by emotions they had not processed and released, usually from an extremely emotional situation. These unprocessed emotions became stuck in the client’s body. They can occur anytime in a person’s life, as recently as yesterday, or as long ago as childhood. Trapped emotions wreak havoc in our bodies and souls, causing emotional pain, physical issues, lack of confidence, and even disease.
The emotion code gives us the means to find the emotions trapped in our bodies and then release them. As your emotional baggage is eliminated, your heart, mind, and body, become lighter and more peaceful as your body becomes more balanced.

How do Trapped Emotions Work?
A way to visualize the dynamics of removing trapped emotions would be to picture a router in your home bringing WiFi signals to your computer. A router uses radio waves, a 2.4 gHz channel. A microwave uses the same channel and will compete with the successful transmission of WiFi signals to your computer. Now suppose the router is on your kitchen counter next to a baby monitor, wireless speakers, a garage door opener, and other devices that give off electromagnetic frequencies. The router now has numerous devices that interfere with the signal, thus causing interference, and often a failure of the signals to reach the computer.
The computer represents our bodies, the router represents our bodies’ efforts to get signals flowing freely through our bodies, and of course, all the devices in the kitchen interfering with the signals represent trapped emotions in our bodies. When our bodies are balanced, (trapped emotions removed) our brain and body systems can give out clear messages to every part of our bodies and these messages can be clearly received.

The Dynamics of Emotion Code Release
Emotion code is a form of bio energetic medicine. It combines work with the mind and the body to help people realize their potential. When a client seeks out a practitioner, he usually has one or two specific issues of concern, for instance, a chronic ache in his shoulder and anxiety. He may have sought out help from a medical doctor for his shoulder with no success. He attributes his anxiety to the stress of raising a family and making a living. The practitioner, after saying a silent prayer for guidance, will ask the client, “Do you have a trapped emotions relating to shoulder pain and anxiety that we can release now?”
Using muscle testing, the practitioner can quickly identify the next emotion to be released. Each emotion must be released one at a time because it comes from a specific time or event in one’s life. The emotion is identified from a chart containing sixty different emotions. More questions are asked to determine the age and event when this trapped emotion occurred. When muscle testing reveals that enough information has been gathered, the practitioner can release the emotion using a magnet and a statement of deliberate intention, swiping it three times over the client’s Governing Meridian. The practitioner then verifies, using muscle testing, that the trapped emotion has been released.

What is Muscle Testing?
Muscle testing is a form of biofeedback. Just as our subconscious mind governs our body functions such as our heart beating, our lungs inhaling and exhaling air, or our intestines taking in nutrition, our subconscious mind tells our bodies what is true and good for us. Our subconscious mind is a limitless resource of wisdom, and is linked with the Universal Energy Field. It knows the answers to questions and problems out of reach of our memory or conscious mind. Muscle testing can access the subconscious mind to reveal information important to our healing.
Regarding the client with shoulder pain and anxiety, the practitioner was able to identify and release the trapped emotions that occurred when the client was a child. Muscle testing, also known as kinesiology, allowed the practitioner to pinpoint the vulnerable areas of the client, helped the practitioner to determine the root of the problem, and told the practitioner when the emotion had been released.
WHY A PRACTITIONER USES A MAGNET, INTENTION AND MERIDIANS
Throughout history, magnets have been used in compasses, but it’s only in the last several decades that magnets have become main stream in all sorts of technologies. Magnets are used to generate electricity and are used in many different systems that convert energy from one form to another. They are used in computers and in health and medicine such as an MRI. Magnets can erase information off of credit cards.
You may ask, “Why does a practitioner use a magnet?” Emotions are vibrations of pure energy and each emotion has its own frequency. Quantum physics has confirmed that energies affect other energies. Our bodies are also made of energy. Negative emotions, with their specific frequencies, will exert a detrimental influence on physical tissue. Given that the human energy field can be distorted by the frequencies of negative emotions the practitioner must use another form of energy to release the trapped emotions. That form of energy is a magnet.
The practitioner swipes the magnet over the Governing Meridian because it is a main acupuncture meridian that supplies energies to smaller meridians throughout the body. The Governing Meridian runs from the inside of the upper lip over the nose, forehead, and head, and down the spine to the tailbone. The practitioner also uses a deliberate statement of intention as he swipes the magnet over the Governing Meridian because an intention is a forceful and vigorous form of thought-energy that intensifies the power of the magnet.
Acupuncture has been around for thousands of years. Practitioners of Western medicine have been skeptical of the efficacy of acupuncture or of the existence of meridians. Recently, scientists at Seoul University have confirmed the existence of meridians, which they refer to as the Primo Vascular System. It has been suggested that this system affects the transmission of the flow of energy and information communicated by electromagnetic waves of light and DNA.

Processing
The next step for the client is the healing process. For a day or two after the emotional release, the client may feel tired, emotionally sensitive, or have head aches or body aches. These symptoms are usually mild. It is important to remember that releasing emotions, along with the mild, temporary physical discomfort quite possibly avoids more serious problems in the future.
In every culture and in every medical tradition before ours, healing was accomplished by moving energy.
